Bankroll Ladder 2025: unit sizing, peak vaulting & session bands

Your edge is structure, not speed. This bankroll-first playbook uses a simple Ladder: fixed units, automatic peak vaults, and clear session bands for green/amber/red states. Same stake logic across slots, live, or crash—less drift, cleaner cashouts. 18+.

Bankroll ladder with unit sizes, peak vault checkpoints and session bands

Define your unit once (and stick to it)

Set unit = 0.5–1% of session bankroll. This is your base for spins/hands/rounds. Never change stake mid-block. Raise or trim only between blocks when the Ladder tells you to.

  • Green band: calm conditions; base unit.
  • Amber band: higher volatility or slow cadence; half unit.
  • Red band: erratic pace or rules uncertainty; stop or switch title—no stake changes.

Peak vaulting: keep what you’re ahead

When equity hits a new peak, vault 20–40% to a “do-not-touch” slice (withdraw or segregate). Continue at the same unit. Vaults turn lucky streaks into actual retained bankroll.

  • First peak: vault 40% (protect early variance).
  • Next peaks: vault 20–30% (let the run breathe, still bank gains).
  • After a drawdown: no “unvaulting”. Reset expectations and keep unit flat.

Session bands: simple traffic lights

  • Start band (green): objective = +25–35% or −40–50% of session bankroll.
  • Shift to amber: drop animation speed or switch title if cadence/event density dips.
  • Red exit: unknown terms, WR traps, lag, or rule confusion → close the session.
Cadence beats intuition. If cost per 100 spikes or spins/min collapses, the band changes—not your unit.

Cross-mode application (slots, live, crash)

Slots

  • Prefer titles with visible RTP edition; log cost/100 and feature entries.
  • Bonus buys only if cost fits ≤ 60–80× unit; otherwise keep base game.

Live

  • Pick single-zero roulette with La Partage/En Prison, or blackjack basic strategy tables.
  • Flat bet only; side bets optional and capped at ≤ 0.3 unit.

Crash/Multipliers

  • Fixed unit per round; pre-set auto cashout band (e.g., 1.7–2.1×) and stick to it.
  • If variance clusters, shift to amber band or end block.

Micro-logs that keep you honest

Block | Mode | Unit | Spins/Hands | Cost/100 | Vault? | Band | Result | Notes
----- | ----- | ----- | ----------- | -------- | ------ | ---- | ------ | -----
#1 | Slot | 0.8% | 520 | €7.60 | 30% | G | +18% | 2 features, smooth pace
#2 | Live | 0.6% | 60 | n/a | 0% | A | -9% | Slow shoe, no side bets
#3 | Crash | 0.5% | 35 | n/a | 0% | R | 0% | Lag spikes → exit

Common pitfalls (and quick fixes)

  • Stake creep: feelings push the unit up mid-block → Fix: units change only between blocks.
  • Peak regret: skipping vaults after big hits → Fix: automate vault % and execute instantly.
  • Mode mixing: changing title and stake together → Fix: one variable at a time.
